Clean AC strainers on CAT 53- STB SIDE

remove screws and remove the basket strainer lid

open the lid of the long metallic filter housing

remove filter element, clean it , making sure every hole in it is clear from dirt and debris

remove basket, clean it , making sure evey hole in it is clear from dir and debris

clean the lid making sure you can see through it.

re set the lid and tighten the screws

re set the filter element inside the housing .

Make sure you have the o-ring . close the lid clockwise , don't close it too tight. just enough to avoid leaks

fill the basket with fresh water

open the sea water valve

open the sea water valve. verify no leaks.

Turn on the A/C and verify normal seawater flow.

Turn on the A/C and verify normal seawater flow.
