Clean AC strainers on CAT 51 - STB SIDE

close sea water valve

remove transparent vase-looking strainer housing with rubber strap wrench

remove strainer element , clean it , making sure every hole in it is clear from dirt and debris

clean the transparent vase-looking strainer housing making sure you can see through it.

Reinstall the strainer element and housing. Make sure the O-ring is properly seated and both plastic ends are correctly installed on the strainer element. Do not overtighten the housing.

open the sea water valve

Turn on the A/C and verify normal seawater flow.
